2) If the Lakers do choose to trade him, it wouldn't be to a Western Conference team because we have to face Kobe 4 times a year and possible more if we make the playoffs and face him there

Bad trade. First Houston belongs to Tracy and Yao, they are super stars there so why leave? Additionally with the addition of Franchise, with San Antonio, and Dallas, makes the state of Texas the 'Triangle of Doom'. For the Lakers, its almost equal, but Tracy's back is more than questionable as much as I dig my dude.
